Frequently Asked Questions for Web Publishers
What are the benefits of being part of Resonate's ad network?
Resonate Networks offers premium payments to Web Publishers—exceeding the rates paid by many other advertising networks. In addition, we provide Web publishers with a new pool of advertisers, including those that are issue-related which would usually not utilize your site based on traditional (non-attitudinal) ad targeting.
The issue and values-based ads served by Resonate will also reflect your visitors' attitudes, ideology, and issue concerns, making your site and brand more valuable to them.
Will you work with any Web publisher?
No. Only web sites meeting Resonate Networks' selection criteria can be part of our ad network. Based on our continual research and survey analysis, we regularly update our Web publisher network and add new websites.
How do you select Web publishers for your ad network?
Resonate Networks' select pool of top-tier, mid-tier, and so-called long-tail or niche web sites are selected for their high percentage of readers who are responsive to issue and values-based advertising and likely to engage in action. If you are a Web publisher interested in joining our network, please click here for our Web Publishers application form.
If I am part of Resonate's ad network, can I choose not to host specific ad campaigns?
Yes. Web publishers working with Resonate Networks have the ability to approve ad campaigns before they are launched—a benefit not offered by many other ad networks.
Are you a transparent network?
As a premium ad network, Resonate believes it is important to provide advertisers with some visibility to the high quality publishers in our network, while supporting publishers' efforts to maintain some differentiation of their inventory in the market. As a result, Resonate Networks may expose information on the publishers in the Resonate network on a network-wide basis, but does not identify the specific publishers that are used in any given campaign.
Does Resonate Networks' targeting rely on personally identifiable information (PII)?
No. In fact, Resonate Networks never collects, stores, or analyzes any personally identifiable information. Our micro-targeting model is built on extensive, in-depth anonymized surveys, as well as other non-personalized data. Resonate targets web sites based on an in-depth understanding of audiences, not based on information about any specific audience member.
